Summer Baroque Institute

The Boise Baroque Orchestra is expanding its education program!

The new Summer Baroque Institute is a four-day private workshop hosted by Boise Baroque Orchestra in ​partnership with three local high-school orchestra groups. This year’s participants come from Boise High ​School, Timberline High School, and Cenntenial High School. Welcome, students!

Over four days in August, participants will work in sections with Artistic Director Robert Franz and ​principal musicians of the Boise Baroque Orchestra on special baroque and classical repertoire, with a focus ​on baroque-style technique. At the end of the program, participants will show off all they’ve learned in a ​concert at First Presbyterian Church on Saturday, August 25, 2024 at 7:30pm. This performance is open to ​the public and free to attend.
