Who is Julie Andrijeski?

Julie Andrijeski is a nationally celebrated Baroque violinist and instructor who grew up in Boise, Idaho. She has been recognized for her “invigorating verve and imagination” (Washington Post), “fiery and poetic depth” (Cleveland Plain Dealer), and “velvety, consistently attractive sound” (New York Times).

Julie grew up around dance as her mother taught locally for many years. She believes musicians and audiences grow in appreciation and understanding of Baroque music when they understand the elements of dance associated with how it was originally performed. Join her and the Boise Baroque Orchestra as they explore Baroque music during her residency.
